Cancellation Policy for Purchase Options

This cancellation policy applies to subscriptions, pre-orders, and any “try before you buy” services offered via Honeypack.nl.

This policy has been drafted in accordance with applicable Dutch and European legislation, including:

  • Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU);

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR);

  • Dutch Civil Code.

By using our purchase options, you agree to this policy.

1. Subscriptions

For certain products, Honeypack.nl offers subscription options where products are automatically delivered periodically.

By starting a subscription, you authorize:

  • recurring deliveries;

  • automatic payments via the chosen payment method;

  • secure storage of payment details by our payment providers.

The subscription frequency, price, and terms are clearly displayed before completing the order.

1.1 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions are automatically renewed until cancelled by you.

Where legally required, you will receive information prior to a renewal regarding:

  • the renewal;

  • the costs;

  • and the available cancellation options.

1.2 Modifying or Cancelling a Subscription

You can at any time:

  • modify;

  • pause;

  • or cancel your subscription.

This can be done via:

Cancellations apply exclusively to future orders that have not yet been processed.

Orders that have already been:

  • processed;

  • packaged;

  • or shipped,

can no longer be cancelled.

1.3 Right of Withdrawal for Subscriptions

For the first delivery of a subscription, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies in accordance with European consumer law.

In accordance with Article 6:230p sub f of the Dutch Civil Code, an exception applies to sealed products that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if the seal has been broken after delivery.

Opened or used honeypacks where the seal has been broken after delivery can therefore not be returned.

2. Pre-orders

A pre-order is an order for a product that is not yet available or in stock.

For a pre-order, Honeypack.nl may:

  • collect the full amount immediately;

  • request a partial payment;

  • or store payment details for later payment.

This is always clearly displayed during the ordering process.

2.1 Cancelling Pre-orders

Pre-orders can be cancelled free of charge as long as:

  • the order has not yet been processed;

  • and the product has not yet been shipped.

After processing or shipping, the regular return conditions and legal exceptions for sealed consumer products apply.

2.2 Delivery Dates

Stated delivery dates for pre-orders are indicative.

Honeypack.nl is not liable for delays caused by:

  • suppliers;

  • carriers;

  • customs;

  • production issues;

  • force majeure;

  • or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

3. Try Before You Buy

If Honeypack.nl offers products via a “try before you buy” arrangement, additional terms apply.

3.1 Payment Authorization

When placing an order, we may perform a temporary authorization on your payment method without an immediate charge.

3.2 Trial Period

The duration of the trial period is clearly displayed during checkout.

Within this period, you can decide whether you want to keep the product or return it in accordance with the applicable return conditions.

3.3 Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • the product must be unused;

  • the packaging must be unopened;

  • the seal must be intact;

  • the product must be in its original condition.

Opened or used food and consumer products where the seal has been broken after delivery cannot be returned for reasons of health protection and hygiene.

3.4 Automatic Collection

If the product is not returned within the agreed period according to the instructions provided, the full purchase amount will be automatically charged via the specified payment method.

4. Fraud Prevention

Honeypack.nl reserves the right to refuse, limit, or cancel subscriptions, pre-orders, trial orders, or accounts in case of suspected:

  • fraud;

  • abuse;

  • unauthorized resale;

  • chargeback fraud;

  • violation of these terms;

  • or other unlawful activities.

5. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits the statutory rights of consumers under applicable Dutch or European consumer law.
